Oblation: A Tangible Investment
As we remain steadfast through the recovery phases of a global pandemic, and we are grateful for the return of students to the classroom. Great things are happening at Girls’ High! It is through the commitment and continued support of alumnae sisters like you that the Alumnae Association is able to continue sustaining some of the financial needs of our beloved Girls High School.
Thank you to everyone who continues diligently to volunteer their time and/or financial resources.
To give you more say in how you support the school and the AAPHSG, we are offering you the option of designating your donation to one of the following funds:
General Fund: Donations in support of the Association’s administrative office, including staffing, printing and mailings, the Alumnae Newsletter, website, and other day-to-day alumnae services.
Transition Program: Donations used to sustain the successful Girls’ High summer onboarding program for 9th graders.
Makers Space: Donations used to furnish a collaborative workspace inside the school designed for making, learning, and exploring STEM projects. Needed: 3D printers, laser cutters, CNC machines and even sewing machines.
Capital Improvement Initiative: Donations used for capital Improvements to the school including the library, a new sound system for auditorium, and improvements to science labs.
School Support: Donations used to fulfill the requests of the principal, faculty, and students.
Scholarship and Awards: Donations used to augment our existing Scholarship fund.
If you would like to designate to a fund other than those listed above, select 'Other' and enter your designation request in the comment. As we approach this year’s Season of Giving, we ask that you include the Alumnae Association in your charitable contributions. Your gift helps us maintain one of the two all-female public college preparatory high schools remaining in the country. No gift is too small.
The AAPHSG is a 501(c) (3) nonprofit corporation. All donations are fully tax-deductible.
There is indeed nothing like a Girls’ High Girl! Help us keep the legacy alive for future generations of women.
